Mid-Day-Meal Programme was introduced for disadvantaged children in schools this programme is successfully running about 350 nos. of school (Government, Government aided and local body schools) in different Gram Panchayats under this Block .
Introduction to MDM+ Pilot Project
MDM(+) Pilot Project under Garhbeta-I Block has been successfully running in the school named (1)Pursusa Pathartoria Primary School under Khakursma Gram Panchayat (2) Jharboni Jr. High School under Amlagora Gram Panchayat. In this Pilot Project fish production of broiler and mushroom cultivation are successfully running. This would supplement the cooked Mid-Day Meal with protein rich food to enhance its nutritive value and also generate revenues from excess production. Two to three days in a week students are able for getting necessary protein thorough M.D.M cooking by those Project. Teacher & SHG Group are involved to functioning this Pilot Project.
